Summer Academy Of Adult Learning and Teaching

The University of Southern Maine is leading a UMS-wide pilot faculty development academy focused on teaching the adult learner, thanks to a grant from the University of Maine System’s Adult Degree Completion Committee. The focus of the academy is on how adults learn, as well as modeling best practices for the participants. It will take place over 3 days, July 31 - August 3, 2017 at the Abromson Center on the USM Campus in Portland, Maine and will host faculty participants from all seven campuses of the University of Maine system.
